The board also approved a Fiscal Advisory Committee charge that narrows the committee purpose to a concise list, establishes staggered resident terms to avoid mass turnover, and adds a charter-school representative and non-voting board participants. Trustees discussed application timing and next steps: publish the application, approve policy edits in August and appoint members in early fall.
Trustees noted community-driven scholarship opportunities (e.g., October Fest fundraising) to help offset fee increases for individual students.
