At the start of the Sept. 8 meeting the Board approved the minutes of Aug. 11 by roll call (motion carried). Staff then briefed applicants and the public on automatic extensions authorized by state and village actions for permits issued before March 7, 2020 (a 120‑day automatic extension applicable in some cases). The Board confirmed the applicants should expect written notice of the status of their approvals.
An architect for 23–25 South Moger asked for additional time because DEP approvals were delayed until June and COVID‑19 affected tenant availability; the Board granted an extension that requires the applicant to commence work by June 8, 2021 and complete work within six months thereafter (vote 7–0).
The Board also adjourned several applicant hearings (PL Property Management items) to Oct. 13 to coordinate schedules and staff review.
