Little Miami board approves temporary experience flexibility for intervention specialists

Board members asked whether the bargaining unit had been consulted and raised concerns about potential grievances or perceptions of favoritism; the superintendent said the district had discussed the resolution with the LMTA president and that hiring discretion remains with the superintendent. Trustees also asked staff to flag hires that used the resolution so the board can monitor its application.
By roll call the board approved Resolution 26-014 (Mrs. Horvath: yes; Mr. Sbert: yes; Mrs. Bullock: yes; Mr. Wallace: yes; Mr. Whiting: yes). Following that vote, the board approved personnel items and a boys' basketball field trip; both votes were recorded by roll call as unanimous.
