Superintendent Chapman presented a broad consent agenda covering travel approvals, service contracts, intergovernmental agreements, equipment sales, personnel actions and policy readings. Key items approved by motion and roll call included:
- A final reading and approval of a school travel trip to Germany, Austria and the Alps (summer 2028). - Approval of pediatric therapy services (physical therapy) for the upcoming year. - A consulting agreement with Monica Lightenberg for communications and social-media services at $10,000 annually, the same amount the district has been invoiced previously. - A renewed agreement with Knox General Health District to designate Fredericktown Local as a point of dispensing (POD) in a public-health emergency. - Sale of two buses to Granville Exempted Village School District (administration said this was preferable to a government auction process). - Approval of the annual nutrition standards report and suspension of certain routine student fees for the 2026–27 school year (the suspension excludes specified high-school course fees listed in the course handbook).
The board moved and seconded the consent agenda; roll-call votes recorded unanimous 'yes' responses from members present. Chapman noted that some job descriptions (notably the head-cook job description) would be finalized and brought back to the board the following week.
