County Counsel Joel Benton explained the proposed settlement would resolve claims against Jackson County and, in exchange for the payment set forth in the agreement, the recipient would release all past, present and future claims against the county, its officers, employees and agents. Commissioner Colleen Roberts moved to approve the order; Commissioner Randy Sparacino seconded. Commissioners Roberts, Sparacino and Chair Rick Dyer voted aye and the motion passed.
