Staff and board members discussed FOIL volumes: staff said the town received about 1,500 FOIL requests in 2024 and roughly five appeals during the year. An official reminded the board that an appellant may seek further review through the state’s process, including Article 78 proceedings, if dissatisfied with the municipal decision.
The ratification concluded with the clerk confirming a physical quorum and that Councilmember Sheehan’s remote vote counted under the town’s public‑meeting notice. The board proceeded to other agenda items.
