The board approved an employment contract to make Vincent Morales the district’s Assistant Superintendent of Business Operations effective July 1.
Superintendent explained the recruitment process, saying more than 20 applicants were screened through School Services; Morales was selected after interviews with a finalist pool. The superintendent and trustees thanked outgoing Chief Business Officer Danny Hman for his years of service and praised Morales’s qualifications and prior district experience.
