At the Dec. 9 meeting, Town Administrator Violet Sanderson presented a Simple Subdivision application for the Castle Rock Second Addition, proposing to vacate existing Lots 1 and 2 and create Lot 4 (approximately 1.47 acres) and Lot 5 (approximately 2.31 acres) near Highway 89 in South Afton.
Sanderson said Planning & Zoning recommended approval with conditions. After a short presentation of the proposal and the board’s recommendation, Council Member Will Wilkes moved to approve the subdivision application, seconded by Council Member Michael Butler, and the council approved the motion unanimously.
The council’s action authorizes the applicant to proceed subject to the conditions recommended by Planning & Zoning. For details about conditions of approval, plats, and any recording steps, interested parties should contact the Town Administrator or Planning & Zoning.
