At its June 8 meeting the Hall Municipal Light Plant Board completed routine reorganization following elections and approved minutes from the April 28 meeting after members agreed amendments to clarify who produced earlier grant-related statements and attendance details.
Tom Burns was nominated to continue as chair and Dan Cherello was nominated for vice chair; the nominations were seconded and described in meeting remarks as passing (reported as "four with one" by a participant during the roll call). The board then discussed approval of the April 28 minutes: one commissioner asked that language be corrected to show that a named prior grant writer, not the current commissioner, had been the earlier author of a grant application paragraph and that the minutes should reflect who was present for that discussion. The clerk and members agreed to edit the paragraph to remove attribution of grant authorship and to record that the board proceeded with discussion.
With those edits proposed, the minutes were approved as amended. The meeting then moved into agenda items on a resolution related to grant applications and the town manager's role, legal counsel advice, and capital projects.
