Audubon commissioners approve broad slate of 2026 appointments and administrative resolutions

The Audubon Board of Commissioners approved a large group of 2026 appointments and administrative resolutions at a caucus meeting on Jan. 6, adopting motions that set staffing, purchasing and procedural authorities for the year.
Mayor Robert Jakubowski moved to reappoint Danielle Ingves as municipal clerk under Resolution 2026-01, and the board adopted a series of companion appointments (Resolutions 2026-02 through 2026-11) that named personnel including a borough administrator, tax collector, treasurer and deputy positions. "Thank you all very much for the appointment," Danielle Ingves said after her reappointment and subsequent designations.
Commissioner Andrea Wendell moved and Mayor Jakubowski seconded additional appointment blocks (Resolutions 2026-12 through 2026-20) to assign fund commissioners, CDBG representatives, zoning enforcement officers, and a Class III Joint Land Use Board member. Resolutions 2026-21 through 2026-29 established administrative practices including state-contract purchasing authority, designation of The Retrospect and the Courier Post as legal newspapers, tax-assessor authority for appeals, and tax grace-period rules. The board also approved committee appointments and the 2026 temporary municipal budget (Resolutions 2026-30 through 2026-35).
Other actions included authorization of limited off-premises events for Farm Truck Brewing LLC on specific January dates (Resolution 2026-36), issuance of RFQs for consultation services (2026-37), and approval of allowances and change-order credits related to the Audubon Senior Center lobby renovation (2026-38). The board appointed Randolph Callaway as Superintendent of Public Works under Resolution 2026-39; Commissioner Wendell moved the motion and Mayor Jakubowski seconded it. The public portion concluded with a resolution (2026-40) to enter closed session on contract matters.
All motions described above passed by roll-call vote with the mayor and Commissioner Wendell recorded as voting in favor; Commissioner Alemi was absent for the early slate of votes, as noted in the meeting record. The meeting minutes record the motions as carrying by unanimous vote among those present.
The meeting established staffing and administrative authorities that will shape Audubon’s operations in 2026. No legislative ordinances were introduced for action during the public session. The board recessed to closed session to discuss contract matters and adjourned the public meeting at 6:58 p.m.
