Park and Recreation Director Brian Perry told the board on May 11 that remote mowers are now in operation and that they will cut about 2.5 acres per day. Perry also announced the township splashpad is scheduled to open on May 22, 2026.
The Park and Recreation report for April was approved by the board on a unanimous vote. The minutes do not specify which parks will be mowed with the new equipment nor the hours of splashpad operation; staff follow-up or the published park schedule will provide those details.
Next steps: Parks staff will operate the remote mowers as part of routine maintenance and prepare for the splashpad opening on May 22.
