River Ridge board adopts loan amendment and approves $173,368 ditch‑cleaning contract

At its June 25 meeting the River Ridge Community Development District adopted Resolution 2024-05 to amend the use of proceeds from its Improvement Revenue Note, Series 2024, and authorized a first amendment to the loan agreement with Synovus Bank.
Following adoption of the resolution, the board approved MRI Construction, Inc.'s estimate of $173,367.78 for dry retention flow-way ditch cleaning adjacent to River Course holes #6 through #8. The District Engineer, Charlie Krebs, presented the scope of work and staff discussed funding sources; District Manager Chuck Adams said loan proceeds will cover drainage projects and staff had included irrigation within contingency calculations.
Both motions were made and approved by unanimous voice vote. The board also accepted unaudited financial statements as of May 31, 2024 and approved amended minutes from the May 28 meeting.
Separately, discussion about a proposed new well and a McCullers Construction Services estimate ($277,550) was held; that item was tabled for future consideration and received no board action.
