Councilmember Keith recognized Eagle Scouts Owen Horn and Mike Horn for their work on a path behind the school and thanked volunteers who helped with retaining walls. Keith also said two Lincoln Avenue residents had sidewalk replacements under a village program that covered half the cost.
Councilmember Rain reported a deep pothole at the turn from North Street onto Pleasant Street near Mr. Ludy and urged immediate repair; another councilmember confirmed the pothole poses a hazard when meeting oncoming cars. Councilmember Backie encouraged downtown businesses to apply for the relief program approved earlier in the meeting and reminded businesses that staff and council members are available to help with applications.
Staff announced the council's next meeting is scheduled for June 25 at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers.
