The Tewksbury School Committee on June 10 recognized community partners and longtime staff as part of a broad set of year‑end honors.
The Ginsburg Family Award — established in 2013 to honor local contributions to the schools — went this year to Trellbrook Golf Course for decades of coaching and course access for school teams, presenters said. "Without their help, we quite possibly might not have a golf program," a presenter said as the recipient accepted the award.
Jason Stamp, the district's STEM and IT director, introduced Stacy Mahalland as the 2026 Chrissy Palamino Outstanding Educator for her work as a technology-integration specialist. Stamp said Mahalland "goes above and beyond," supporting teachers in classroom integration, volunteering on district committees, and serving as the district's social-media coordinator.
The meeting also included a roll call of more than a dozen retirees from classroom aides to principals and maintenance staff. Honorees included long-serving educators and administrators praised for decades of service to students and families. Remarks highlighted specific contributions — small daily acts of support, leadership on buildings and programs, and work across grade levels — and concluded with gifts and photos.
Committee members said the honors serve both to thank retirees and to remind the community of institutional continuity: "The work that you did with Jamie ... lives in every classroom," one member said during the recognitions.
