Lebanon Township’s Committee on Oct. 16 adopted Ordinance No. 13-2024 to amend Chapter 325 concerning fees and cash deposits for public utility corporations and introduced Ordinance No. 14-2024 to amend inspection and reinspection fees in Chapter 214 and the township fee schedule.
Ordinance No. 13-2024 was adopted after a public hearing; the motion to adopt was offered by Abe Abuchowski and seconded by Jay Wojcik, and the minutes record a unanimous vote. Ordinance No. 14-2024 was introduced to the Committee and scheduled for a public hearing on Nov. 6, 2024; the motion to introduce was made by Brian Wunder and seconded by Tom McKee, and was approved unanimously.
The proposed inspection-fee ordinance (No. 14-2024) would amend §214-17 and §205-6 to update the town’s schedule of inspection and reinspection fees. The utilities-fee ordinance updates bonding/escrow language and clarifies a $25 township final application fee to be retained after project completion in certain cases.
Both matters were noncontroversial in the minutes; no public commenters addressed these ordinances during the hearing recorded in the meeting notes.
