The Livingston Union School District board voted unanimously on June 11 to extend Superintendent Andrés Zamora’s contract and grant a 2% merit-based increase, raising his base salary to $289,055 effective July 1, 2026.
Board President Rigo Espinoza announced the board had completed Zamora’s annual evaluation and that he received a unanimous overall rating of “satisfactory” for the 2025–2026 school year. The approved addendum extends Zamora’s contract term through June 30, 2030 and incorporates the 2% merit increase for the 2026–2027 year. The board’s action followed the closed-session evaluation and was taken in compliance with the terms of Zamora’s employment contract.
No public comments on the addendum were recorded at the meeting. The board’s public record shows the vote was unanimous and no opposing motions or amendments were offered during the open session discussion.
The board is next scheduled to meet on June 16, 2026.
