After a closed executive session to discuss employee compensation, the Tecumseh Local Board of Education voted unanimously on June 17 to approve the TASE negotiation package negotiated with the district.
The negotiated terms approved by the board were: a 2 percent base increase for fiscal year 2025, a 1 percent base increase for fiscal year 2026, and a 1 percent base increase with a reopener on salaries for fiscal year 2027. The motion to approve TASE negotiations was made by Mrs. Clark and seconded by Mr. Stafford and passed 5-0 on a roll call vote.
Board members did not provide additional contract details in open session; administration indicated the action fulfills the board's bargaining obligations for the period described and will be implemented in forthcoming payroll cycles.
Next steps: the treasurer and HR will incorporate the negotiated increases into payroll and present any necessary contract documents and budget impacts to the board.
