Greenburgh board approves slate of appointments, settlements and budget transfers

The board approved a resolution authorizing settlement of a property damage claim by Jose Marocho for an amount not to exceed $11,005, and multiple tax-certiorari settlements (Sprain Brook Holding Corp. and Sprain Brook Manor Rehab LLC related to 77 Jackson Avenue; Scarsdale Country Estates; Fairmont Arzley; Hastings Center Realty) with amounts stated on the record. The board also approved retaining Thomas Triady to represent a Greenburgh police officer in the matter of Rollins v. Cogganham for a total not-to-exceed amount recorded in the resolution.
On fiscal matters, the board approved several budget transfers and the retention of Munistat as financial advisers for 2025. Procurement items authorized included awards to lowest responsible bidders for uniforms, athletic supplies and pool chemicals with dollar caps reported by staff. The board accepted a $40,000 Lamson Family Foundation grant for the Police Department summer youth camp.
