Board signs FY24/25 MOUs and service agreements; EMS reports new hires and pending software MOU

The Calhoun County Board approved a package of FY24/25 memoranda of understanding and service agreements June 25, including MOUs with Twin Lakes Bible Camp, New Opportunities, Inc., and the Heart of Iowa Regional Housing Trust Fund, as well as agreements with Family Crisis Centers and Centers Against Abuse and Sexual Assault. The board also approved a contract with the Calhoun County Historical Society and a contract for economic development services; all motions were approved unanimously.
Bruce Musgrave, the county EMS director, told the board a Memorandum of Understanding and Software Use Policy between IDOT and Calhoun County Emergency Medical Services will be signed and that a UnityPoint Clinical Engineering Agreement will be signed; he also reported two new part-time hires for the EMS department.
