At 9:10 a.m. on June 25 the Calhoun County Board of Supervisors convened a public hearing on the vacation and disposition of county right-of-way and property. The hearing record shows no public comments or objections; the hearing closed at 9:12 a.m.
After the hearing the board approved Resolution 2024-17 to vacate a county road and Resolution 2024-16 to dispose of county property. The board also approved a motion authorizing the chair to sign an affidavit of compliance with Iowa Title Standard 2.1 and a warranty deed associated with the disposition. All actions passed by unanimous voice vote.
