The Village of Anna Council on Sept. 10 adopted Resolution 24-951 authorizing an application to the Ohio Public Works Commission (OPWC) to seek funding for various street reconstruction projects.
Riley Schumpert moved to suspend the rules so the council could consider Resolution 24-951; Mark Pulfer seconded and the council recorded a roll-call vote of all yeas. Schumpert then moved to adopt the resolution, Pulfer seconded, and the motion passed on a roll-call vote of all yeas.
The resolution gives village staff authority to file the OPWC application and related paperwork to pursue state funding for street reconstruction work. The measure was presented and acted on during the legislation portion of the meeting; Resolution 24-950 (a separate tax-levy certification) remained on second reading and saw no final action this evening.
Council members who moved and seconded the motions and the unanimous roll-call results were recorded in the meeting minutes. Staff will proceed with the OPWC application process as authorized by the council.
The council adjourned at 7:43 p.m.; no further action on street projects was recorded at the meeting.
