The Village of New Bremen council approved its consent agenda at the May 26 meeting, a package that included approval of the agenda, minutes and the finance report and a transfer of $1,200,000 in excess cash to the Star Ohio investment account.
Councilman Maurer moved to approve the consent agenda; Councilman Condon seconded the motion, which carried on a five‑aye vote. Maurer reported May expenditures of $1,121,986.48 and total receipts for April of $2,401,090.35 and said the finance committee had reviewed April bank reconciliations.
Also during roll call the council voted to excuse Councilmember Larger. The motion to excuse Larger was made by Councilmember Bertke and seconded by Councilman Condon; the motion carried.
The finance report recorded a transfer of $1,200,000 to Star Ohio to manage excess cash; that transfer was approved as part of the consent agenda. No further debate was recorded.
The meeting adjourned later in the session following a separate motion by Councilmember Hurley.
