At the start of its June meeting, the Kohler School District board approved the meeting agenda (motion recorded as moved by Tara, seconded by Emily) and the consent agenda, which included May 13 minutes, invoices and employment recommendations (motion recorded as moved by Emily, seconded by Tara); both motions passed by voice vote.
The board recognized fourth-grade teacher Grace Swanson as an Eastern Wisconsin Excellence in Education award winner and thanked volunteer photographer Tom for donating portraits at the awards event. Swanson thanked the board for the recognition.
Near the end of the meeting the board moved to adjourn to closed session to consider the superintendent's annual evaluation pursuant to Wisconsin statute 19.85(1)(c). The motion to go into closed session was recorded as moved by Tara and seconded by Kelly; roll-call votes were taken and the motion carried. Heather was noted as excused from the meeting.
