Chairperson Michelle Dumolt convened the Village of Pleasantville Finance Committee at 6:38 p.m. on Feb. 12, 2026, and the committee approved financial documents for both December 2025 and January 2026.
Councilman Bob Pangborn moved to approve the minutes from the Dec. 11, 2025 regular meeting; Councilwoman Korry Harrier seconded. Chairperson Dumolt, Councilman Pangborn and Councilwoman Harrier each voted yes and the motion carried. The minutes record that there was no January 2026 meeting.
The committee reviewed December 2025 financial documents and, finding no major issues, voted to approve them after a motion by Councilwoman Harrier and a second from Councilman Pangborn. The committee then reviewed January 2026 documents and similarly voted to approve them unanimously after the same motion pattern.
During the January documents discussion, Chairperson Dumolt asked that the record reflect a $483,250.00 posting from Surety First on Jan. 6, 2026; the committee noted this posting as related to the Walnut Street water tower bond. Penny Marquart, the village fiscal officer, was listed in attendance for the meeting and is the official responsible for maintaining fiscal records.
The committee adjourned at 7:00 p.m. after a motion by Councilwoman Harrier, seconded by Councilman Pangborn, with the vote recorded as unanimous.
Next steps: the approved documents will be included in the village financial record, and the committee noted that Resolution 02-12-26-02 on supplemental appropriations will be addressed by the general council at a later meeting.
