Walker and Building Official Rupert completed a final inspection of renovations at Simoniz, Walker said. The Fire Marshal also recorded responses to a carbon-monoxide call at 213 West Street and noted that Deputy Fire Marshal Rupert handled a house fire at 81 Tolland Road.
A meeting with school and public-safety officials was held at Bolton Center School to discuss natural-gas safety; Walker said he reviewed and signed off on the Bolton School Emergency Plan. Deputy Fire Marshal Volkert presented at the NFPA "Remembering When" program; Walker is scheduled to speak to the Honorable Order of the Blue Goose, Hartford Pond, later in November.
