At its Nov. 10 meeting the Monroeville Local Schools Board approved a set of administrative policies, personnel appointments and donations.
The board unanimously approved an updated Title IX Grievance Procedure (policy 9.08) for employees and students after a motion by Board member Ruggles, seconded by Smith. The minutes record the action under business item 2025-323.
The board’s treasurer presented financial reports for October 2025, which the board approved unanimously. The board also created FUND 007-9122 to hold Drive to Victory Scholarship funds, with a motion by Schafer and a second by Smith.
Personnel approvals included the appointment of Dr. Khari Grant as an OPES 2.0 evaluator (recorded as 2025-326), acceptance of the resignation for retirement of custodian Kevin Coy effective Dec. 31, 2025 (2025-327), approval of Erin Wise as junior high fundraising coordinator (2025-328), a step correction for Pam Owens to Step 3, and approval of three coaching positions for the 2025–2026 school year (Kyle Shock, Lauren McCurdy and Cam Haver) recorded as 2025-329.
Donations accepted by the board included multiple gifts to the high school drama club and scholarship donations to the Jump Memorial Scholarship; the minutes list donors and amounts. The board accepted a $250 donation from Goodwill Industries of Erie, Huron, Ottawa & Sandusky Counties to be used for the Drive to Victory scholarship (2025-332).
