Jamie DiFrancesco, a representative of the Camden County Board of Health and Human Services and a social worker, joined the March 21 meeting to brief the board on county human services available to Audubon residents. He said services include a senior Social Day Center that offers crafts and outings (not medical care), Meals on Wheels meal delivery, and free adult and pediatric immunization clinics at county locations, including an underutilized clinic at the Bellmawr library on Browning Road.
DiFrancesco told commissioners that contact information and service descriptions would be emailed to the borough administrator, commissioners and municipal clerk so staff can share resources with residents, and he encouraged the borough to reach out when human services needs arise or to explore hosting opportunities in town.
