Board moves Woodlands polling location to Little River Elementary

She said the county had already reassigned one manager and aimed to minimize voter disruption.
John Slager moved to follow Anne’s recommendation and relocate the precinct to Little River Elementary School. A board member amended the motion to drop the fixed "until after the presidential election of 2028" language so the board can revisit the decision later; the board accepted the amended motion and proceeded with the relocation.
Board members emphasized the need for clear voter notifications and updated precinct cards. Anne said the Elections Office ran the required public notice advertising and would handle sign and precinct‑card updates.
