Weston County School District #1 approves hires, accepts resignation, adds bus stops and hears of Canvas security incident

Facilities and IT reports: Maintenance Director Adam Ertman reported that the pool façade work is complete, middle-school roof work is underway and expected to finish next month, a chiller project will begin in the next week or two, and RFPs for engineers and architects for a high-school project were submitted. Technology Director Beau Gregory reported a breach in the Canvas Education Program that interrupted automatic sync to PowerSchool; Gregory said the district appears not to have been affected and that Wyoming Cares and Canvas security staff are involved while teachers are entering grades manually.
