Business manager resigns and multiple staff departures accepted by Weston County School District #1 board

At its March 11 meeting the Weston County School District #1 Board of Trustees accepted several resignations and authorized posting vacancies.
Superintendent Brad LaCroix recommended acceptance of the resignation from Angie (listed in the minutes also as Angela) Holliday as business manager effective June 30, 2026; the board accepted the resignation with regret and authorized posting the position. The minutes list the resignation as effective June 30 and direct district staff to begin recruitment.
The board also accepted certified resignations including Scott Beehler (middle school P.E. teacher and middle school assistant track coach) and Hope McKay (high school Spanish teacher); classified resignations including Keri Bridge (bus route driver) and Janette Jones (special education paraprofessional); and an extra‑duty resignation from Doug Scribner (girls and boys swim coach). Where noted in the minutes, trustees authorized posting the vacated positions.
Motions to accept each resignation were made individually and carried by voice vote. The minutes offer thanks for service for departing staff where recorded. The board listed administrators’ contracts as a future agenda item at the March 25 meeting.
