Maintenance Director Adam Ertman told the board on May 27 that field soil samples taken two weeks earlier had been tested and that the district would temporarily close the gates to the football field while further testing occurs. Ertman said he had met with parties involved in the field installation and that the installers would stand behind their work.
Ertman also reported that two new doors were installed at the middle-school gym and that one roof project is complete with work on a second roof scheduled to begin the following week. He invited the maintenance and grounds committee to a mandatory walk-through for companies wanting to submit bids for the high-school HVAC project at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 29.
The board did not record additional action at the meeting regarding the field testing results; Ertman said samples were pulled and results were returned, prompting temporary closure while the district continues evaluation.
The maintenance updates followed administrator reports on technology and curriculum; no public comments were received during the meeting.
