Audubon commissioners introduce floodplain ordinance and approve multiple liquor-license renewals and borough actions

Mayor Jakubowski opened the 5:00 p.m. caucus meeting and read the required notice, saying the meeting notice was published in the Courier Post and the Retrospect and posted under Title 10 of the New Jersey Statutes Annotated. “Please be advised that this meeting is not being videotaped tonight,” he said.
Commissioner Whitman moved and Commissioner Lee seconded the motion to introduce Ordinance 2023-05, which repeals Ordinance 2016-10, adopts new flood-hazard maps, and designates a floodplain administrator; the ordinance is scheduled for second reading on July 5, 2023. The motion to introduce the ordinance was approved on a voice vote recorded in the transcript as “All in favor — motion carried.”
Also approved by motion were liquor-license renewals for Kove Catering Inc. (Resolution 2023-91), Apple New Jersey, LLC (2023-92), Sri Priya, LLC (2023-93), and WV Audubon Ventures (2023-94). The minutes record each resolution as approved by motion with the same two commissioners noted as mover and seconder and the shorthand “All in favor — motion carried”; the transcript does not include individual roll-call votes or numerical tallies.
