The Board of Supervisors approved the meeting agenda on a motion by Cory Ridgely, seconded by Scott Jacobs, and approved the minutes of the prior meeting on a motion by Scott Jacobs, seconded by Cory Ridgely; both votes were recorded as unanimous.
Cathy Voith, County Recorder, told the board her hotel cost for Summer Recorder School may be about $189 per night including taxes; the board found the block-room rate compliant with the county’s Meeting Expenses and Reimbursement policy and recorded no objection.
County Attorney Ben Smith opened a discussion on solar energy but advised the board the item will be tabled until he prepares a proposed resolution; no substantive policy action was taken on solar at this meeting. The board also held a budget workshop; the minutes do not include line-item decisions from that workshop.
The board adjourned and set its next regular meeting for Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2025, at 9:00 a.m.
