The River Ridge Community Development District board unanimously adopted Resolution 2024‑05 on June 25, 2024, authorizing an amendment in the use of proceeds of its Improvement Revenue Note, Series 2024, and permitting the District to enter into a first amendment to the loan agreement with Synovus Bank.
Following the loan amendment, the board approved MRI Construction, Inc.’s estimate of $173,367.78 to clean the dry retention flow‑way ditch adjacent to River Course holes #6 through #8. Chuck Adams (District Manager) said loan proceeds will cover the drainage projects as part of the original scope and staff had added the irrigation project with a 10% contingency.
The motion to adopt Resolution 2024‑05 was made by Supervisor Kurt Blumenthal and seconded by Supervisor Terry Mountford; the motion to approve the MRI Construction estimate was made by Supervisor Kurt Blumenthal and seconded by Supervisor Robert Twombly. Both motions passed "with all in favor" and no recorded opposing votes. The dredging/cleaning contract approval follows the district’s identification of drainage priorities and is tied to the revised Series 2024 Note scope.
District Counsel reported that a draft opinion letter had been prepared for the Resolution. The Board recorded the contracts and loan amendment as the principal actions from this portion of the meeting; staff will proceed with contract administration consistent with standard procurement and loan documentation procedures.
