Board awards Dent Road bridge replacement contract to RNI Construction

County engineers described the project as a pre‑cast replacement bridge spanning the East Fork Rattlesnake Creek in Trenton Township. Four bids were received and staff recommended awarding to the lowest and best bidder, RNI Construction.
Commission President Jeff Benton and the other commissioners voted to approve the award. Staff did not discuss the contract amount during the public portion of the meeting; engineers said award and contractor selection followed standard procurement procedures.
Construction scheduling and contract execution will be administered by the engineers office; staff will return to the board with further contract documents and timelines as required.
