Commissioners reported that Maker Space donated time to fabricate the cutouts and that John Keegan and Julie Fournier designed a template with a large center space for decoration. The commission said it will sell the plywood star cutouts for $25 each and limit purchases to one per family; the town office is expected to handle sales again if John Keegan confirms with town staff. Judges for the contest will be selected for the Sunday of Old Home week.
Commissioners noted they may need at least one extra sheet of plywood for testing and that Maker Space will send a computer-generated image of the star for review. John Keegan said he has coordinated with Polly Dawson of the Old Home Committee on logistics. No formal vote or new spending authority was recorded beyond the plan to sell cutouts.
