On March 13, 2024, the Village of Northfield council read Resolution No. 2024-04 honoring the Akron-Summit County Public Library’s 150th anniversary. Council moved to suspend the three-reading rule (motion by Councilmember Renell Noack, seconded by Alan Hipps) and then voted to adopt the resolution (motion by Gary Vojtush, seconded by Renell Noack).
