At its April 24 meeting the Village of Northfield Council voted to suspend the three-reading rule and adopted Resolution No. 2024-12, authorizing the Village to participate in the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) annual road salt bid under the terms and conditions of the ODOT contract.
Law Director Brad Bryan read the resolution by title. A motion to suspend the three-reading rule passed on roll call (the minutes record yes votes from Councilmembers Ferko, Noack, Vojtush, Magistrelli, Hipps and Lewis). A subsequent motion to adopt the resolution was recorded with yes votes from Ferko, Noack, Magistrelli, Hipps and Lewis as listed in the minutes.
The minutes do not specify anticipated quantity, price, or budgetary impact from participation; council did not ask for those details during the meeting and no follow-up assignment on price or quantities was recorded.
