The mayor of Woodbury said the city's 2026 biennial community survey, presented recently to the City Council, found roughly nine in 10 residents rated their quality of life as "excellent" or "good." The mayor described the survey as a randomly sampled household survey used to track resident perceptions over time.
The mayor said respondents also gave high marks to "the overall feeling of safety, health and wellness opportunities in Woodbury." He highlighted two notable gains in this year's results: residents' ratings of dining opportunities rose about 5 percentage points, and ratings for the renovated Lookout Ridge Indoor playground rose about 11 percentage points.
"Woodbury residents continue to rate their quality of life highly, with roughly 9 in 10 residents providing excellent or good marks," the mayor said. He added that the city conducts the survey every two years and that the 2026 results were reviewed by the City Council.
For more detail, the mayor directed readers to his column and to the Quality of Life insert in the June City Update newsletter, and said the full survey results are available on the city's community survey page. The message concluded with brief closing remarks and thanks from the mayor.
