Council members tabled a proposed website redesign and ADA-compliance update from vendor Revise after questions about contract details and interactive forms. Staff described a $3,930 proposal for ADA updates and a $900 annual add-on for interactive forms; council asked staff to bring a single, complete contract package next month and voted to table the item.
In unfinished business, the council discussed two pending permits for a funeral home (owner identified as Mr. Shotti). Staff said the exterior siding and metal-roof work remain incomplete and inspections are pending; the council agreed to grant a one-month extension until the July 14 meeting to allow the owner to finish exterior work and receive proper notice.
During public comment, several residents urged action on obstructed sidewalks and a deteriorated house on Main Street. One resident who identified himself as Kirk thanked council members for past sidewalk work on Elk Street and offered volunteer assistance. Staff said they have been working to contact property owners and will proceed with enforcement or cleanup measures as allowed.
