At the June 9 meeting Director Dan Hoock said four of the eight new swings at Lions Park are installed and the new bathroom building is in place, though plumbing and electrical work still need completion; Hoock said that work should be finished by the end of June.
Hoock said the cabin exterior needs repainting and suggested that might become an early-fall project pending scheduling and resources. Commissioners discussed the possibility of adding pickleball courts to Lions Park; no formal decision was made. Commissioner John Unson also requested that the metal fencing by the parking lot entrance be painted; Hoock said he would add that task to the maintenance list.
No vote was taken; the items are pending routine maintenance scheduling and further planning for any new courts.
