The Oak Park Municipal Advisory Council voted 5-0 Feb. 22 to approve Public Works’ plan and cost estimate to build two new sign boards on Kanan Road and Lindero Canyon Road, authorizing $4,681 from County Service Area (CSA) #4.
The motion to approve the plan was made by Michael Paule and seconded by Mike Green; the council recorded a unanimous vote. Derek Ross expressed concern about ensuring a warranty would be provided for the work, and members discussed that warranty and quality expectations would be confirmed with Public Works prior to construction.
The funding allocation was described in the Public Works estimate presented to the MAC; no alternative funding sources were proposed during the discussion. The Standing Landscape Committee will coordinate details of the sign-board installation with County staff, including any warranty or maintenance terms.
The council’s formal approval concluded the agenda item and the MAC moved on to other business.
