Johnstown council approves routine contracts, advertises Townsend Ave. bridge bid

The Johnstown Common Council on March 17 unanimously approved a series of routine agreements, investments and procurement steps, including advertising a bid for the Townsend Avenue bridge replacement.
Council approved the Munistat Advisor Services agreement, Arcadis landfill monitoring activities contract, disposition of city-owned property at 418 W. Clinton St., participation in NYClass investments, a Negative Declaration on a listed matter, and motions to advertise RFPs for demolition and parking-lot resurfacing. The council also authorized advertising for bids for the Townsend Avenue bridge replacement. Each motion recorded a 5–0 vote with no abstentions and no members absent.
