The Norwich Township Board of Trustees unanimously approved several administrative items during its Nov. 4 regular meeting in Hilliard.
The trustees approved minutes from six prior meetings, including the regular meeting on Oct. 7 and special and executive meetings in October, each by motion from Rick Tidd with a second from Sonny Cantrell and unanimous votes recorded Tidd–Yes, Young–Yes, Cantrell–Yes.
On appointments, the board approved a resolution nominating Ronald McClure as the Franklin County townships’ representative on the Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio Board of Trustees. The resolution was moved by Sonny Cantrell, seconded by Rick Tidd, and passed unanimously (Motion Passed #251104.11).
The board also approved providing a $50 gift card to every Norwich Township employee “as a thank you for excellent service this year.” The minutes record the motion and unanimous approval but do not specify the number of full- and part-time employees or the total cost (Motion Passed #251104.12).
After completing business the board voted to adjourn at 10:20 AM (Motion Passed #251104.13). The meeting record lists Township Chairman Greg Young and Fiscal Officer Omar Tarazi by name in the signature block; the minutes otherwise attribute motions and votes to trustees Rick Tidd, Greg Young, and Sonny Cantrell.
