Parks & Recreation Director J.C. Kennedy presented the Park Advisory Board with January 2024 financial figures for the Recreation Center (recorded in the minutes as "AHRC").
Kennedy reported AHRC revenue year-to-date of $162,090.53 and expenditures year-to-date of $133,548.90. After an estimated benefits adjustment and an accidental payment deduction listed as $164,908.03, the AHRC subsidy year-to-date for 2024 was reported at $2,817.50, with a cost-recovery rate of 98.29%.
Kennedy noted that the General Fund subsidy year-to-date in 2024 is $24,436.48 less than it was in 2018 before AHRC opened. The figures were presented for the board's information; no policy action or budget vote was taken at the meeting.
