Glaghorn said he hopes the grant will be awarded and described what he characterized as blighted properties that require demolition or remediation. The public hearing was opened at 6:01 p.m. and closed at 6:02 p.m.; no other speakers spoke during the hearing.
Following the hearing, the council approved a resolution authorizing staff to submit the CDBG application by recorded motion. The resolution passed with four ayes and one absence (Council Member Bradley Hayner excused).
