Upper Hanover raises firefighter stipend to $600, approves lease and tables several contracts

Upper Hanover Township’s Board of Supervisors unanimously increased the Fire Fighter Service Stipend to $600 at its Dec. 9 meeting and approved routine administrative items including a lease agreement and a contractor payment.
Supervisor Ben Fiorito moved to adopt Resolution No. 2025‑44 to increase the stipend to $600, to be shared between the respective boroughs and the township; the motion passed unanimously. The board also approved the James Yerger Camelot Park Farm lease agreement by a 3‑0 vote.
Engineer Peter Eisenbrown presented Payment Application #2 for Gordon H. Baver, Inc.; the board approved the payment application 3‑0. The board tabled action on several contracts, including an HVAC maintenance agreement, the Modern Group generator maintenance extension and a John Miller and Son, Inc. yard/leaf waste recycling agreement extension, and asked Manager Anne Klepfer to invite Planning Commission candidates to the organizational meeting.
