Johnstown approves CDBG application to fund sewer and bridge work tied to proposed senior housing

The council recorded the action as approved on the agenda. Motion to approve the CDBG item was made by Council Member Max Spritzer and seconded by Council Member Bradley Hayner; the minutes record the tally as Ayes: 4, Absent: 1 (Council Member Scott Miller). The application described the two line items (sewer and bridge work) as directly tied to the senior housing proposal.
The approval permits staff to proceed with the CDBG application; subsequent steps and funding awards are contingent on grant approval and any further state or federal requirements. The council did not record further conditions or amendments to the application at the meeting.
