ACC informed a trial board found officer not guilty of improper use of force

At its March 6 meeting the Baltimore County Administrative Charge Committee received an update that a Feb. 10 trial board found an officer not guilty of an improper-use-of-force charge.
At the March 6 meeting of the Baltimore County Administrative Charge Committee, staff reported on a trial board held Feb. 10 that reviewed an officer charged with improper use of force and found the officer not guilty.
Sharon Knecht, a county staff member, provided the update: "We had a trial board on February, 10th. The officer was charged with improper use of force, but the trial board found the officer not guilty," she said.
The committee did not record further discussion or appeal during the open session. The Chair proceeded through remaining agenda items and adjourned the meeting; the ACC is scheduled to meet next on April 3, 2026 at 12 p.m. in Room 118 of the Baltimore County Historic Courthouse or via Webex.
