The Indian Hill Exempted Village School District Board of Education held its organizational meeting and swore in new and returning trustees before electing officers for the 2026 calendar year.
Barrett Tullus was elected board president after nominations were opened and a roll-call vote concluded the election. Rob Warful was elected vice president in a separate vote. Following the officer elections the board approved committee assignments: Rob Warful to chair the instruction and technology committee; Nolan Marks to chair operations; Nikki Singh to chair personnel and professional relations; and Barrett Tullus to chair finance and audit. The board said it intends to have committees meet more regularly in 2026 and that meeting schedules will be made public.
Earlier in the meeting the board administered statutory oaths of office to members, including Tim Schwiker, Nolan Marks and Barrett Tullus, each repeating the required oath pledging support for the constitutions of the United States and the State of Ohio and to faithfully perform the duties of their offices for the Indian Hill Exempted Village School District. The board also approved its organizational consent agenda by motion and roll call.
The board paused briefly to take a group photograph before reconvening for its first regular meeting of 2026.
